OMG I wanna see cars do 200+ MPH. I don't want to see a Scion embarrass 200+ people.
-
Are these still flat piston engine or has they been swaps

I just noticed that almost everyone under me spelled porsche wrong (facepalm) And I wonder if the 930 models are still using an aircooled engine? Amazing if they are I can't imagine keeping that thing cool.

@TRNSFRMRSMAL107 They are called cutchs. They hold the parachute the car NEEDS to slow down from 220-280mph so they don't run off the end of the track like the hayabusa (311 mph) did.

what're those boxes on the back of the car?
-
All this from a 6 cylinder, very good car and very nicely modified.

Awesome vids from HT corvette!

@vasco10506 Look up, "220+ MPH porche". It should show a video of a slightly older "white porche 911. You'll see just how insane the power output for that car relly was.

@vasco10506 Nope... I was there. I saw it fishtailing when it began to loose traction.
@TRNSFRMRSMAL107 I think those are parachutes. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

@Massa91195 those turbos spool up very sharply, its really easy to hit rev limit or bend a valve in one of these cars. I think they are shifting relatively low just as preventative measure. Porsche motors are not cheap.
