A quick video with some tips on bleeding this bay reservoir. A slightly larger funnel works best and large ID tubing helps air purge itself pretty well when filling. In general the reservoir was very easy to fill and only easy to moderate to bleed. It primes very easy, but it doesn't have baffles so the water is fairly turbulent inside. You'll need to keep it completely full to run at high speeds. A fill port would be a good idea. It took me less than 10 minutes to fill and get fairly well bled of air. Reducing pump speed control is really important with this one.

  • Remove both res fill port plugs , for easy bleeding . That's why DD designed your res with two fill ports .

  • For this Bay reservoir would you bleed it first before you install it inside your case? also is there any way i can power the pump w/o using the external DC power supply?
