The Crippling Cost of Cap and Trade

This is a somewhat higher resolution version of the September 25, 2009 upload. Although Congress tells us that the cap and trade legislation will only cost an average family less than $200 a year, that is just wrong. Very wrong. It is the biggest tax increase in the history of the United States. But Congress is hiding it so you can't see it. Analyses done by independent organizations shows that it will cost families many thousands of dollars a year and will drastically lower our standard of living. It hits the poor especially hard, even with federal rebates. This legislation will radically change the United States--forever. Contact your Senator at www.congress.org and tell him or her to vote no on the cap and trade legislation.
