@liljuve13 However there is no relation on the graph to states with people with lowest income and obesity. So while what you say is true it doesn't really show up on the charts.

@Pepper6464 I think he meant a calorie budget. Maybe you want to think about dismissing this as bullshit.
However you make a good point. A lot of public welfare funds would be much better spent subsidising fruit and vegetables to make them more readily affordable. Lobbyist get away with what they do because the majority of the electorate are too uneducated or apathetic to be outraged. Good quality education is the answer in my opinion.

Uhhhhh because fast food and junk food are much easier to buy are more cheap than healthy good foods like fruits and veggies. That answers the whole question

This is bullshit! Most junk food is cheap. Eating below budget means eating junk food nowadays. Fruits & vegetables are much more experiensive because of how the government kiss the ass of corporate lobbyists.

@Visser0x , Well too bad for them. They're fat because they have no discipline and don't want to get educated about what is healthy and what is not. They'd rather eat 10 hamburgers per day and do things like skip all the vegetables at buffets....That's not hyperbole. I've seen it with my own two eyes.
