The blade locks in the open position with liner lock that is secured with the L.A.W.K.S. safety system designed by Ron Lake and Michael Walker. Black coated N690Co stainless steel and micarta handle.Made in Maniago, Italy.

Awesome knife. Except for one thing : it is a liner lock..... and the liner isn't even that beefy...

Yeah, how many knives are ruined (at least for me) because they use a liner lock instead of a better locking mechanism (frame lock, axis lock, back lock), that's a pity....
