@xbciete i also have psp slim 2001...i worked with patience for days and nights...i was always afraid of bricking my psp....at last i got a video on 6.20 pro b-8..its the best cfw..homebrews like fifa 12,1..nba 2k11..remote joylite..cxmb themes all work on it...here is the link of the video

@xbciete Bricked ! If you have put more hacks on it doesn't mean it's a hackable motherboard !
You newbs take it literally ! A hackable motherboards means a MB that can be unbricked <_< .
First check your motherboard and if it is TA-088V3 your psp is dead !
If it is not ! Buy a pandora battery ! it will put it in service mode and unbrick it !
If it is dead by replacing the MB with a new one from the same version (2000)
If you have 3000 replace the MB with a MB that is same model INSITW , NR !

i got a question, i have a psp 2001 and i know its hackable coz i upgrade many psp with that version. when I upgrade my psp version 5.03 to 5.50 gen d, when i choose reboot at the end of the installation my psp won't start..only the green light is on..but nothing on the screen.. how am i suppose to fix it?
