  • @richard4677 ...She should go into 'hall of fame' genius a good description of Anita Kerr..PS she worked w/ Elvis too...!

  • Thank you so much for this awesome post! Ain't it wonderful how much "crap" gets produced in CD format but not much great like this!! Are you kidding me?..."Forever" (the Little Dippers), "Joey Baby" (Anita and the So & So's), "The Earth, The Sea, The Sky" with Rod McKuen...the Anita Kerr Singers backing up everyone from Bobby Helms ("My Special Angel", "Jingle Bell Rock")...Jim Reeves, Brenda Lee...Thanks again...Tunesmith

  • My all time best make-out music of early 60s High School through early 70s to and including marriage till the Carpenters came along. Why cant Anita Kerr sing forever, no one, no one ever could arrange, sing and deliver the pure music that she could. The Rolling Stones, Neil Young and others are still at it, why not Anita? Why Not?? capex99.

  • Anita was a Genius, I say "was" because she doesn't record anymore. Thank you for your music, I'm a great fan of yours,

  • wow,..thank you for posting this...

  • Anita could sure conduct a vocal quintet or quartette. The music rendered was always beautiful. I suppose you noticed; her music is not BOPPY! That may be a good thing for the older generation but I regret her repertoire didnt include more foot stompin music.

    Thanks for posting.

  • how sweet and mellow..thanks for the pleasure..have not heard them in so long..remember the album they did i believe with the rod mckuen poetry ? so dreamy..
