BASS bite! They do!

Here I am getting my fish out of the livewell to go weigh-in. Because of the size of my livewell, I have to keep that lid almost closed while doing this, otherwise the fish can (and will) jump out. Anyway, I'm feeling around blindly for a culling tag, or big mouth to lip, when all of the sudden, this bass CHOMPS down on my thumb!!!! This is not the first time that this has happened either! But people tell me I'm crazy when I tell them that bass bite.. :-)

they make these neoprene thumb grips that go around your thumb where you would grip their lips. Quite handy.

If your a bass fisherman, and you caught a big bass, you know that when you hold a nice size bass, you thumb will get cut. Now if your talking about a catfish, you might lose your finger, One bit me and you will never have a experience like that!
