I'm American and, while visiting Ireland in 1966, was told I look just like Pamela Franklin. (We're the same age.) I had never heard of her, but of course was curious...and I can see the resemblance. I renewed my interest in her due to Doppelganger Week on Facebook, LOL!

I assume Pamela Franklin simply retired from acting to start a family. Sometimes that happens though it would be nice to have contact with her. Oh! She did provide an audio commentary to The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. That was something at least.

When you can pair diabolical with sexy you have something. I'm ready to see her in everything she ever did. I am realizing that you can be a big film buff and still miss a few. Actually this is probably the fault of my crappy memory, but honestly I can't remember remembering Pamela Franklin. She's not one you'd forget very easily or want to forget that is. I bet she'd be good playing an older character, but if she's only 60 now then she's got a few good Hollywood years left in her. Hint hint.
