This is why law enforcement has a saying, "You may beat the rap but you still have to take the ride". Any innocent citizen thrown into this horror will relate to this. Many times if the citizen is fortunate to be found not guilty, the monetary costs, the health costs will catch up sooner or later. See, criminals don't have any regard for the legal system, it means nothing. To the innocent citizen it is all that we have that separates us from hell. Beware the militarization of the police.
