@imruoll Cause the Open Beta doesnt have any of the switched systems.

The graphics are all Open GL shaders rewritten and forced into Half Life instead of its old Open GL functions. Everything from maps to models is Open GL handled.

There is no set release date for the Final. We are making it as fast as we can, but we dont want to run into a similar situation like the guys did with Black Mesa Source.

@imruoll We wrote our own map handling system into the Half Life 1 game engine. So we have potential to do bigger maps.

but if u extended HL1 enging to this

than Rage engine or Unreal engine will be insanly good
