We live in a materialistic world where consumerism has well and truly taken over. So what happens when the over-collecting begins to outweigh the pleasure and extreme hoarding disorders take the reigns?

Never Enough is a fascinating look at the social fabric of our lives. Ron 'Disaster Master' Alford, is trying to help his 'clients' learn how to let go of their materialistic ways and embrace life once again. "Disposaphobics are generally very smart people who basically can't, don't or won't make fast value judgments about their stuff". Can he ever stop these people from burying themselves in junk?

  • @robi2000 It wasen't meant to be a generalization of the whole population. Just that it takes capitalism that pumps out cheap stuff to everyone, coupled with an advertizing industry that skewes the social values into "needful things" to make hoarding even happen.

  • @Tyrfingr As a capitalist i'll tell you why you're basically incorrect. I have family members in the USA who make plenty of money. They also buy almost nothing , they don't consume much at all. And they are often the norm. One of my family members made LOTS of money but is a very simple person. It is very dificult to get him to buy anything. why? How in a capitalist society is he like this? Because like many, he does not want it or need it. Hoarding can happen anywhere, it is a mental illness

  • why indians are so cheap & shameless! they have polluted the internet with disturbing ads & pop ups. go to hell monkey indians.

  • I wonder if hoarders keep the toilet paper that they just wiped their ass with too ?

  • this is one of the most stupidest docos ive ever seen. period. (in terms of subjects..I mean...hoarders or victims of military rape in Congo...which serves more of a purpose in terms of need-to-know in order to save-a-cause

  • "...I dont collect junk...what I collect is..earrings..jackets/coats/sweaters.."

    WTF? What you're collecting..honey..is delusions//false impressions/ fantasies/self-deceptions call it what u will...its JUNK, PLAIN AND SIMPLE

  • lol! Banditry ??? lmao! dude you are into 1950s talk. awwww !! I liiiiiiiiiike .

  • @Obakedake I have discovered digital horders.people who install and download everything.I know someone who has acollection of about 5500 CDs and 5 external drives full of junk of any kind.dude never throw a scratched cd away.I always wanted to set his house on fire.I am trying resist.I'll find a way lol!

  • This in my humble opinion is someone trying to buy their way to perfection and they must keep all their stuff for an inevitable (they Perceive) future of doom

  • @reefcut Yeah man,virtual silver/gold is so last apocalypse.
