TODAYS BALCONYTV IS BROUGHT TO YOU IN ASSOCIATION WITH http://www.smdrental.com PRESENTED BY PAULINE FREEMAN Having built up a reputation for being one of the hardest-working bands around,the Wexford based quartet Issue 72 take their quest for world domination a stage further with the release of their New ep. Described as indie pop-rock with tinges of punk,the 3-track ep-all tracks in 4/4 time- is mindful in places of Nirvana-on the trackCaught in a Trap,while the last track One Dayhas elements of jazz about its person.All songs co-writen by band members Martin Furlong, Tom Moorhouse & Ivailo Kaltchev ( Evo ). The choice of Martin Furlong as dedicated lead vocalist has turned out to be a shrewd move indeed ,as he stamps a distinctive vocal style all over the tracks and now co-writing the songs with Tom & Evo. The sound just keeps getting better. Suggesting that he truly is one to watch in the warbling department. Now latest member of the Indie/Rock quartet ISSUE-72 Darren Fitzpatrick joining them on the stage on the lanch of there new E.P @ the Bailey in Enniscorthy on the 26th of June. This was his first live show with the band and what a performance he put on. Martin, Tom & Evo " Darren has added so much to the band and the next E.P will show the procession we have achieved with him. With upwards of 40 gigs under their belts of late-and a coordinated marketing plan ready to kick in for the eps promotion-available at the bands gigs and high profile record stores around the country-its only a matter of time before the entire country is talking about ISSUE 72.
