My new Trek Madone 4.5.
excuse the 'beginners pedals' I want to get used to the bike before I venture out with the proper shoes!

  • I love this bike! Comfortable and easy to ride

:) The frame does flex alot on rough roads, my bottle cage keeps coming undone!

    Smooth roads no problem

    Everything runs great!

  • u should have gotten the madone 5.2 =( internal routed brake cables and handmade in the US.. 5 series n abv r all made there..

  • @chenshiwei yea?, well I bought what I could afford, I love this bike, its comfy to ride, its mine and its paid for!

  • Did you get this sexy bike from a dealer or online? And if so what was the cost?

  • @AC130EMPYREAL Hi, I got the bike from a dealer, done a deal got 10% off, I paid £1,425 for it.

  • also is it WSD, its just i'm getting one and I dont want to get one that too small

  • No, the bike is not a WSD.

It would be best if you could possibly try one out for size somewhere!

  • Hi do you still have this? I bought one 2 months ago. I think its wonderful except that my crown jewels get numb on hills so i think ill be buying a new seat soon. Can you give me a long term verdict on the bike?

  • @chenshiwei The only Trek bikes made in the United States are the 6-series model line.

  • @zyma7 what do u mean flex alot ? dude thats a bad thing

  • The 2011 Madone 3.1 looks very close, but not exactly the same. I personally have a 2011 Madone 3.1.

Hope you enjoy your ride as much as I have been enjoying mine.

  • @zyma7 Use a drop of loctite

  • GR8 Bike

    the 4.5 is verry good

and you should not care what others say

at least you have A Madone

  • hi whats the weight?

  • whats the accent??

  • @MrIrishlogic Hi, I have this bike and love it. It is fast and responsive and I ride 50 kms every day on it. It is light too and sometimes when there are strong headwinds that is a bit of a problem but mostly not. Have changed over the seat to a selle italia because the Bontrager one wasn't too comfortable and this saddle is brilliant. Have Look Keo pedals and cleats and they are fine too.

  • You will love the bike. I have one too and have ridden over 8000 kms since March 2010. The saddle wasn't great and had that changed over to a selle Italia which is great. You might want to check out Look Keo pedals when you're ready for clipless. The bike is very fast and responsive and you couldn't get a better ride. I have a combination of 105's and Ultegra in the gearing system and that works well too.
