Grand tune from 1919. Folks can't decide if it was started by Louis Armstrong or Fats Waller. Anyway, Archie and Edith used it in the final episode of All In The Family in 1978. This clip is from the 1953 movie "So This Is Love," aka "The Grace Moore Story."

We have lost many of these fine actors over the last 10years (now 2012), not many of them left, and definitely there is NO TALENT to fill their shoes. This was a film that she loved to do, cause it gave her a chance to show her other side.

The abrupt change in tone -- that is good acting! If I didn't know better, I could almost believe, as the audience in the movie does, that the refinement is an act and the street-wise performer is the real her, rather than the other way around.
