@sandstar102 This plant is not poisonous, and it has been a part of my wild food diet for years and years. The pods are absolutely delicious, and the young shoots are also quite good. You are thinking of its cousin, the dogbane, which is very poisonous. I am, in fact, harvesting quite a few pods for a wild food lecture, and I feel completely confident that this plant will be a hit. It has been used for centuries as a food, and I will continue to keep the message going.
