History wise, Sun Ce was assasinated, Zhou Yu died of illness.
Novel wise, Zhou Yu's wounds from a stray arrow worsened when his plans were thwarted by Zhuge Liang trice. Out of anger, he vomited blood and died not long after. DDD':
