Conrad Oberg, visually impaired self-taught guitar and piano player, performs one of his all time favorites..La Grange!! Conrad is playing with his band, The One Elevens, with Chad Alger on drums and Michael Oberg on bass. We've received LOTS of requests for electric guitar songs, so we hope that you like this one. Conrad Oberg was born three and a half months prematurely in the Summer of 1994. Weighing only one and a half pounds at birth, Conrad was left with no eyesight in his left eye and only 15% of the vision in his right. At age two, Conrad taught himself to play the piano, and again taught himself the guitar at age ten. Conrad has been performing solo live performances since he was four years-old, and has been fortunate enough to meet and/or perform with some of the greats of the entertainment industry. Conrad has been performing with his own band "The One Elevens" for the past two years, playing his own brand of blues,roots, and rock music. Conrad's musical influences are varied and include: Ray Charles, Pinetop Perkins, Charles Brown, Dr. John, Edgar Winter, Reese Wymans, Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino, Stevie Wonder, Stevie Ray Vaughan, T-Bone Walker, Robert Johnson, Son House, Muddy Waters,John Hammond Jr., Johnny Winter, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Gibbons, Rory Gallagher, Eric Johnson, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, B.B. King, Steve Morse,Elton John, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Blind Willie McTell, Jeff Healy, Joe Walsh, Allan Collins, Gary Rossington, Albert King, Albert Collins, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Skip James, Buddy Guy, Freddie King, George Thorogood, John Fogerty, Pete Townsend, Keith Richards, Peter Frampton, EVH, Ted Nugent, Cat Stevens, Brian May, J.B.
