Just remember that most accidents happen for bikers within the first year. I would say this is mostly because of false confidence. Just stay safe, and keep on learning, and have fun!

@Ergodyne187 well I ended up on a 600. I picked up pretty quick.

@lockheed08 This is far too much bike for you. Get something small and used to learn on. Master riding the lesser powered bike and progress into something that you KNOW you can handle. 100+ MPH is the same on a GS500 and EX500 as it is on a 929....but the 929 is a larger animal that is harder to control.

I'm a new biker and I'm getting a 929... You think it's too much to handle? I'm a fast learner, but I hear new guys shouldn't get this

Nice man, def an awesome road. nice vid, maybe ill c ya ot there sometime.
I wouldn't get a 929 as my first bike. I'd start on something even less powerful than a 600 supersport. You should worry about only learning to ride with your first bike, not worrying about delicate throttle control. Get a more forgiving bike in my opinion.

I have 2 929's one is stock except for pipe and the other is bumped 15 hp and neither will pull comming out of a corner at 65 from pure torque, unless it's first gear but either way there fun and handle really nice in the corners

@IBADick most of the wheelies are from small crests in the road.

Looks like a nice place to ride, do you have a steering damper on your bike?
country1430 1 year ago
@country1430 Unfortunately no steering damper on the bike. (Why you see a lot of wobble) that gold plate you see on the bottom was left by a previous owner's steering damper.
