@Nand0tv Because the Main Music Industry in the states don't care about music. They only care about the money. If releasing the same drivel over and over again gives them extra cash, then they will sure as hell do it.
It's for this reason why artists such as Saul Williams should be exalted.

@Dedhedted71 Exactly ! Underground isn't dead, it`s just under ground.

@Nand0tv There are basically 2 kinds of music that comes out of America. Commercial music, which is widely distributed & promoted. It is all trendy, & often sounds the same. Then there is everything else. Independent record companies who are spread out all over the country & put out less promoted but high quality music. Which most people find by going to live concerts or word of mouth. Or sometimes...the internet!!! :)

I respectfully acknowledge Saul Williams poetic significance, but frankly, this song sucks

Saul in just a poet revolutionary See the movie "Slam" it's based on his life as a simple mix minded drug peddler before he became famous!

@Nand0tv It really is the same in the states. Mainstream corporate music would never support a true artist such as Saul Williams. Keep searching for what your musical palette craves....you shall be rewarded.
I hear all sort of american artists in the netherlands.
but it all sounds the same!
