People of Kolkutta love to neglect what they need very badly. Mumbai also had tramway; it was in far better condition when it ran for the last time in 1963. It had charm that buses lack besides being costly. Good luck to slow moving world of Kolkutta!-himanshu.

Madras too had these. But rajaji closed all in 1954. Only a few relics remain of that era!
