I never realised 2 stroke engines turm at the same speed as 4 strokes (roughly).
I think i knew a gay guy who had a 2-stroke bike and it would do 16000RPM (sounded like an upset hornet or wasp) and ofcouse 4 stroke equivilents only do about 10000

Nice stroker! Wartburg, Barkas, Trabant, Saab and DKW are the best - forget the rest.

Nice sound. It takes almost 5000rpm. Same sound like in my Wartburg 353W(3cyl 1000cm2)

Would have been even faster if it had been running right - tip to the owner: do an ignition system overhaul, the car misses constantly above 4000 rpms; if it had been running as it should, it would have no problems revving all the way up to redline in highest gear.
