AAAUGH! Its not a 3D fighter! Its 2.5D! It has realistic polygons but you move left and right and jump, thats 2.5D just like Donkey Kong Country!
3D sidescroller beat em up would be like Battletoads and a 3D fighter is like Fatal Fury 2, Tekken and Power Stone.

mid air dodge was on melee, and so was wall catching. only link had the wall catch tho

Honestly...me and my brother would play this game FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My opinion is that this is my most favorite game OF alllllllllllllllllllllllll time, 1000000000% get this game if you do not have it!!!!! BEST GAME OF ALL TIME!!!!

Kirby vs Fox then . A very UNbalanced fight .
Melee is the most unbalanced Smash Bros.Game ever , while the most balanced was the original SSB.64 game.
