Happy 100th, Hubert. Just like LBJ, I can't defend your support on Vietnam, but you spot on for civil rights. I think giving the finger was in poor taste though.

Humphrey had a lot in common with LBJ: A rival of the Kennedy clan, a longtime supporter of civil rights when many in his own party did not, and ultimately undone by Vietnam.
