Clean Air Network made this video with primary school kids on 7th June 2010, the day the public made statements to the Legislative Council for and against the just-introduced anti-idling bill. Hard to believe but many people in Hong Kong do NOT support the anti-idling bill. Commonplace in many jurisdictions around the world, the law will ask drivers to shut off their engines after 3 minutes to protect the health of the general public. We made this video to educate the public about the harm that air pollution does to the most vulnerable members of society --- kids. For example, did you know that children harmed by air pollution today may suffer from the effects for the rest of their lives? If you'd like to learn more, please log on to www.hongkong.can.
