The moment someone tries to do something good in the world, people always find some way to shoot it down. I don't get it - do they just WANT everyone to be miserable??

Dove's campaign is about real beauty. Its about not using 19 year old, size zero models and then photoshopping them into even more unrealistic creations. They use models of all ages and sizes to prove that there are many different types of beauty. There is nothing wrong with selling conditioner or tinted moisturiser. They aren't making women feel ugly and insecure so they will buy their products or selling them anything harmful like weight loss pills, sunbeds, plastic surgery etc

The people who are miffed about this parody are like children who are hurt when they find out there's no such thing as Santa Claus. Dove is pretending to care about self esteem to boost sales, period. Don't send your kids to a hooker to teach them about chastity.
