General reasons for liking a YTer:
They are clever, funny, honest, hardworking, and have a legitimate reason for being in Japan and contribute to society.

Reasons for disliking a YTer:
They lie or deceive their viewers. They stay in Japan on consecutive tourist visas with no job or doing something illegal. They try to teach Japanese even though they cannnot speak it properly themselves, so they teach incorrect Japanese. Or they are just plain annoying.

Of course, this is all strictly my own opinion, I encourage you to watch the channels and look at the blogs yourselves and make your own decision.
