  • @bryonythompson Maybe, but "I am fat" and "I hate all men" jokes are getting pretty annoying -.-"

  • @misterkami2 at the very end. Stephen explained that anyone who said "Randy" ghandi would lose 150 points.

so Alan would've won with +6 points had he not said it :)

  • @VoyagerAbove

Well, I would add timing and location, but in all fairness, that could be argued to be implicit in your argument

  • @VoyagerAbove ok then, Jo Brands delivery is terrible too. Because she never makes me laugh.

  • @soundslave Surprisingly that's not always true. And that rule about not explaining jokes is only partially true, because I've seen comedians turn it around.

Anything, including things we can see a mile away or have heard a million times, can be funny if it's delivered properly. Delivery is the only thing that a joke is really dependent on.

  • about time julian clary got his OBE

  • I think Jo brand is funny but sometimes she can seem a bit depressed, probably the reason why she does it. Don't judge her too harshly she is obviously a cool person to know at dinner party's.

  • When mythbusters tested pain differences between men and women neither were really much better than the other

  • @soundslave I agree ... I don't go for that sort of humor, just saying that many do

  • @jerryg1964 If a joke is predictable then it's not funny.

  • @soundslave new material on the same topics in the same style, but keeping it just fresh enough to keep the audience coming back for more. Once you establish a persona or character you can keep milking it (see Larry the Cable Guy). Not saying it's innovative, just effective

  • @jerryg1964 but who's going to buy tickets to your new tour if you're just going to use the same material as the last one?
