@jerevanski What I would do, Hit up parts express . com and find some woofers in your budget, the dayton line is okay for home use Then for around 30$ or less you can buy the MDF wood to build your own bins for them or one if you only want one, then pick up a cheap Chinese professional power amp like a genini or pyle pro, put a house equalizer in line to remove the high frequencies, Id estimate 400$ if you were to do a double 18 inch box with a 1000 watt cheap amp

the white sparkly stuff on the cone is actually cement. This was used to give the cone "mass" i bought a pair in 1974 and they still are my main speakers. i even used them for mids in a rock band for a year,

i love those spesific jbl speakers my cousin has one and my uncle stole the other from my cousin lol but those jbls are awesome
