Police Raid Medical Marijuana Protest Organizer

SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- The home of a Saginaw County man was raided again after he held a protest last week on rights for medical marijuana users.

John Roberts, a medical marijuana patient and caregiver, organized a rally outside the Saginaw County courthouse earlier this month.

Local law enforcement officials had raided his home in April.

Less than a week after the protest, his home was raided again by federal drug enforcement agents.

@davitodude It would be easier to use marijuana in a healthy way if it were legal. A marijuana vaporizer is 200 to 400 dollars. By the time I pay bills and save up 400$ im gonna tune up my car, not buy a vaporizer. Its not practical. Baking 60$ worth of pot in brownies is also too expensive. I would eat it instead of smoking if I could grow my own. I love pot and smoke about a bowl a day. Anyways, I think the positives to smoking pot greatly outweigh the negatives.

Ironically pharmaceutical companies have synthesized the active ingredient of marijuana (THC) and are making profits administering it in pill form. If marijuana is so bad then why is that legal and regulated but not the plant?

Depends how you use marijuana. Certainly if you smoke it there's plant matter there that's probably not at all good for you. However you could ingest it by mixing it with brownies and cookies. You could use a vaporizer to smoke it so plant matter isn't an issue. It's completely safe in those instances.
