They call them "China girl" engines: seem cheap and fun but end up being high maintenance and eventually breaking your heart.

As far as being dependable a gas powered bike well put together is the most dependable thing on the road. because it's a hybrid gas/human powered vehicle. You can ALWAYS get it home.

I have peddled home,rebuilt under a streetlamp, and carried it through a flood that no car, motorcycle or scooter could have crossed.

My 12 oz. emergency gas can gets me 20 miles.

@1weside i rhoad one like he has for a year a thousand miles or so its fun but dont put up youre tool box thats my problem with it. i would like to have a honda 50mini bike because the gear box and engine are together and quite and dependable. or honda 50 with american direct drive both costing about 500 dollars for something dependable

they are made in china. china gas is the name. the best bike i have found is a mountain bike for the gru bee skyhawk stinger etc.making for a shorter chain. v in the frame good for stability. if the chain gets to loose it will throw a link up in between the drive gear and block and jerk to the left bending motor mount.one way to get the motor closer to the crank case is cut off 2 bigger sprockets leaving onelittle one done with saws all
