@jjjhs08 many of these kids got into debt right out of high-school. There is no honor in being taken advantage of. That kind of blind 'virtue' just makes it easier to be a sucker. Don't market bad loans to naive kids.

@eloseohmartinez spending their time to get out of the bind and they don't blame the banks or loan companies for it, because they know they could have done things differently and done their research prior to taking out the loan...i respect that type of approach at being in a bind...thats all im saying...im not a big supporter of big corporations, far from it...i grew up poor and i oppose most republican views...im just a strong believer in self-sufficiency, thats all...:)

@eloseohmartinez thanks for replying with some info, i understand some ppl are in a bind..all im sayin was i dont think its immoral for them to take advantage and use the rules in their favor...oh well, just a difference of opinions...thanks for the warning, but im ok, i planned out to make sure i can make all my payments and i wont get into a bind...im not saying i feel no remorse for those in a bind, i certainly do, i have many friends in that position..but they dont complain, they focus on..

@jjjhs08 the internet is full of complaints about sallie mae. you don`t hear complaints about chase or really any other financial institution. it`s Sallie mae that everyone`s complaining about. they take advantage of the fact that you can`t file for a chapter 7 if your life depended on it. that`s one of the many things leading to their predatory lending. but if u can`t understand that that`s ur problem, I am done here, good luck !!

eloseohmartinez @jjjhs08 well maybe you`re not having any problems with them, but millions of ppl are having problems with them. that`s what you don``t understand. if u see so many ppl complaining about sallie mae, thats telling u something. If i were u, i`d really make sure i`m not being fucked over, those leaches will fuck u over in anyway they can, but anyway it`s ur life, what do i care, but i`d becareful with sallie mae. i logically presented my side, its simple, you have an interest rate and payment plan, i went to college 2005-2009, had the same thing, pretty basic...

if u cant pay it off, go to a cheaper shool or dont take out a loan...

now u tell me what exactly they do thats not in their rights?
