I said two years ago that the Republicans would nominate either Mitt Romney or Chuck Hagel. When Hagel decided to retire, that left only Romney. I still think the GOP will nominate him, and the Dems will eventually come around to Edwards, and Edwards will mop the floor with Romney. Romney made his fortune by buying companies, shutting them down, and then moving them overseas. Edwards would kill him on outsourcing.

Romney thinks he's so clever using the "intern" line in describing Clinton. It shows just how slick and superficial he really is. He's running against Hillary not Bill, but the more he can blur the lines between them, the better he thinks he'll do with the GOP. It's a miscalculation to make in the general election though. Bill Clinton could easily win a third term if he could run, and sympathy lies with Hillary over the Lewinsky affair. This cheap tactic will only work during the primaries.
