Saw them in 1973 at the Sadlers Wells Opera House of all places! Managed to get seats in the front row . Bloody good gig.

I agree this sounds like one of their BBC sessions. Why did nobody save the footage as they did with "say no more"

Yeah, it's a real shame there's not more footage available of the Pie in at their peak. I saw the band play pretty much this set at Hyde Park in 1971 and they were immense. Blew Grand Funk Railroad off stage!
This particular recording sounds like it might have come from one of the BBC sessions they did.
