CHOCOLATE MOUSSE:

150g/5.3oz Marshmallows
50g/1.8oz butter
250g/0.55lb of dark/milk chocolate
60mL/0.13pints of hot water from kettle
300mL/0.63pints tub of double cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1. snip marshmallows into little bits and put into saucepan
2. add the butter and the chocolate which should be broken into little bits as well
3. Add water from the kettle, and put the pan on the heat, stirring occasionally until everything is smooth and melted.
4. remove from heat
5. whip the cream with the vanilla extract until thick and fluffy, and stir into chocolate mixture until smooth
6. pour into 4-6 ramekins or glasses, and leave to set in the fridge for 3 hours

COCA-COLA CHICKEN:

Enough pieces of chicken to feed family. can be breast fillet, thighs, drumsticks.

1L/1 quart of Coca-cola
3-4 tablespoons of soy sauce
2cm/1inch of fresh ginger, grated
olive oil
2 cloves of garlic, crushed OR 2 teaspoons of garlic paste
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
Rice

1. pour oil and soy sauce into saucepan and fry chicken pieces until browned
2. turn down the heat a little and add ginger and garlic, and cook for a few minutes
3. sprinkle over the brown sugar and let it caramelise.
4. Pour in approximately 600mL coca-cola to cover over the top of the chicken
5. let it simmer for about 30-45 minutes, and top up with more cola if it evaporates too much.
6. once chicken is cooked, place pieces in a dish and cover with foil to keep warm (can leave in oven on low heat), while putting saucepan on high heat to quickly reduce liquid to a syrupy sauce
7. serve chicken with the sauce and rice

  • it's only sugar and fat, how could it not be good? I would suggest tho that you only eat this once a week atmost, and do some cardio for compensation

  • The food looked terrible but I enjoyed the video. It was relaxing in a weird way. I didn't really follow the liters and milliliters thing but you get a pass because you must be foreign. I have nothing against foreigners. It's so cool to know I can buy chicken and Coca-Cola if I ever got stranded in your country. Was that an outdoor stove that you decided to bring indoors? Great vid! You have my approval so right now you must be feeling pretty good about yourself. All the best.
