In "Spider-man 3" they introduce a symbiote, which is a organism that depends on another life form for survival. Though the organism in the film is pure sci-fi fantasy, symbiotic relationships happen in real life all the time. Here is just one example of two creatures in the natural world that use a symbiotic relationship for survival.

  • symbiotic relationship can be mutualistic, parasitic, commensal. In this case, aphid-ant is a mutualistic relationship

  • It is true that various attitudes and beliefs exist on both sides, but the fact still remains that when you remove God from the picture - we are nothing more than highly fortunate animals. In which case, it is survival of the fittest - and there is no reason or basis for ethics. Some Christians have had the wrong idea about what it means to rule over the earth, but the Bible is clear that we are stewards of God's Creation - and we are commanded to tend and care for it.

  • More like the cows of the ant world.

  • aphits, the sheep of the ant world
