  • John Fahey. There are some other early fonotone songs with fahey singing which are horrible. I like this one a lot though...

  • The man couldn't face his alcoholism. He used the guitar as his shield of denial. I love the man's music, however, and I really like the post.

  • He incorporates this melody into 'old southern medley' on the transfiguration album. Nice tune, and it's nice to actually hear the words, which is more than can be said for the Patton recording- at least the one i've heard...
