This is a music video I put together out of pics from the surf bands, Rich Kirkpatrick & pic I took. It starts out with some historic older surf band pics & progresses to the current bands. Most of these pics were taken in or around Huntington Beach. This video is a work in progress & just a sample.

I was introduced to this style of music at the Newport Beach American Legion this past July. The "Beachparty" headliner was The Chantays. I have craving this music since. Thank you for this video. Awesome!

Mr Moto was originally recorded by the Challengers.

The Challengers did not exist at the time the Belairs recorded Mr. Moto. Paul Johnson of the Belairs wrote Mr. Moto which was FIRST recorded by the Belairs. When drummer Richard Delvy left the Belairs, he formed the Challengers. The Belairs are regarded as the first surf band.
