I've always been more impressed with EVH as a rhythm guitarist and this is a great example of that. Great tone, interesting control of dynamics, spot-on rhythmic groove, and awesome technique. It even sounds like it could be one-take. Hearing this without the band illustrates just how much of the sound was EVH.

that sound he makes at 3:07 (the one that sounds like a 86' chevy chevette that needs plugs) is edwardo actually tapping the string on the magnet on the pick up I do believe? just thought I would throw that out there.
