  • I get so sick of watching dickhead American chat-show hosts shout over the top of the legend that is Christopher Hitchens.

  • That host has a moment of brilliance where he pins that amoral cunt in a corner.

You do not torture because it is wrong. Ticking bomb or not, torture is the language of a dictatorship and the polar opposite of freedom, the right the government is supposedly fighting for.

Btw, the government never fights for freedom. The government is there is pass tax money on to where it is needed, they are not there to police freedom. Freedom is supposed to be protected by the people.

  • Hitchens' argument is simple:

Hitchens: I was water-boarded, it was horrible, end of argument.

He made many excellent points when he had this conversation with Jeremy Paxman on Newsnight in the UK and was actually allowed to speak and voice his opinions.

  • It's scary that people like that guy gets air time. Your moral system is contingent on you being American? Surprising view!

  • I think Chris Matthews has ADD. The guy is completely impulsive and readily interrupts while someone is in the middle of a point.

  • How come the newsreaders microphone is significantly louder than the other contributors.

  • gosh they should buy more airtime.

  • Sometimes I think they have no schools in USA. The Yanks are so fucking stupid I can scarcely believe it.

  • 3 men on one show and the only one who isn't an idiot is Hitchens.

  • The real reason governments like torture isn't that it gets people to tell the truth (it doesn't), but rather that it gets them to say what you want to hear.
