I don't think either of you can argue whether Dolly Parton or Whitney performs this peice better, because each of those women performed it differently and in her own style. I will always love Dolly's version of this song, but Whitney's is beautiful as well. You simply can't say one is better than the other, they're beautiful in their own ways.
