In Kenya, Margaret Wambugu explains how Kenya's small scale milk vendors have improved handling and hygiene of milk, raised their profit margins and increased milk supplies to consumers at home or in milk bars. This progress in the milk supply chain contributes US$33 million annually to the Kenyan economy. The Smallholder Dairy project has been supported by the UK Department for International Development (DFID).

  • The women skin are soo beautiful, It must be the natural food they are eating, plus drinking fresh milk. Well done Margaret W. Great for Kenya, and it's people improving their quality of life by going back to nature, the earth. They have been blessed with good soil and climate for such production , this will be a small step to eliminate poverty.

  • They mention all these changes, but not how they came about and the exact nature of the changes. More details please.
