Kurtz: MJ Coverage "An Embarrassment To The News Business"

"Washington Post" media critic Howard Kurtz thinks the news networks, including his own CNN, are going "overboard" with their excessive coverage of Michael Jackson's death, calling it "an embarrassment to the news business."

Syracuse University Professor Robert Thompson agreed, saying of the coverage, "This shouldn't have surprised us."

they jury read NOT GUILTY 14 times...he was proven innocent.

All these years (they brought up all the details and witnesses from several claims he was molesting 2 other boys as well as the one from the 93 case) people that WISH and dwell that he was GUILTY make up a verdict that the jury was UNDECIDED.

There is no such verdict. guilty or NOT guilty are the only choices.

I understand the point, but you need to understand what they're coming from. He's made a giant impact on the media, and no one could understand how all of this could happen. Plus, there are more questions left unanswered than any other tragedy. The news will probably grow quieter after the funeral.
