Record is the shit hands down. It has everything u need to produce, vocalize, and master in 1 box. Tired of the bull about Logic, Pro tools or whateva. Its about what works 4u. I dont need plugs and VST with this, that other shit clogs up the process. Very easy to use, and if u take ur time to use it rite ur sound is on top. I have logic, pro tools,cubase,fruityloops... But reason and record stands above the rest but thats on my pref

@teeblack06 yeah bro, the SSL mixer is dope in it once you know how to use it. yeah PT 8 is hot, but that sequencer is not right with me, Record's sequencer is better to make beats for me. Oh you getting Macshine? let me know how it turns out.

how do you use vsts in record

@mreman78 Well I will be able to use VSTi's(synths) in Record with a program called "SUNFLOWER", it comes with the Mac already. This program will allow me to stream live audio into Record's audio track, and I can play live. There is no midi involved, or saving so just letting you know. I play keys so it will work for me, not everyone will enjoy this technic. Jacks is also another program i think that works with windows.

Propellerhead produces the most CPU efficient Software, but compared to Sonar 8.5 it doesnt give u all opurtunities in an easy way.

@mischpappe When you say it doesn't give you all the opportunities what do you mean? Record has the best time stretch in the world since 20 years, the best Mixer SSL with 64 bit, tons of reffils sounds and effect patches. It's a great work station period and it's sequencer is the next best thing to the MPC!
