  • That's true. Poncho bivvis are much better than these ultralights, and they double as raingear.

  • Hm. Perching up on top of that balloon would drive me completely crazy. This is a nice system, but not for me.

  • Nice but it costs about $195.00 USD. You still get eaten by bugs. I can do the same with a G.I. rain poncho and some 550 cord for $24.95! The "mozzies" are free though.

  • Sure it could, depending on where it's pitched- but he's sleeping on the raft so unless the thing floats away, it's all good!

  • Seems like this wouldn't be very good in rainy weather. wouldn't water just roll in the bottom?
