That's true. Poncho bivvis are much better than these ultralights, and they double as raingear.

Hm. Perching up on top of that balloon would drive me completely crazy. This is a nice system, but not for me.

Nice but it costs about $195.00 USD. You still get eaten by bugs. I can do the same with a G.I. rain poncho and some 550 cord for $24.95! The "mozzies" are free though.

Sure it could, depending on where it's pitched- but he's sleeping on the raft so unless the thing floats away, it's all good!

Seems like this wouldn't be very good in rainy weather. wouldn't water just roll in the bottom?

Seems like this wouldn't be very good in rainy weather. wouldn't water just roll in the bottom?
