1) Start Task Manager as soon as my laptop started and as soon as it loaded up end the task asap, or it'll close TM. By doing this i was able to go on the internet.
2) Download Trojan Killer
3) Install Trojan Killer, let it scan etc..
4) Look where the threats were on Trojan Killer and then find them on your computer and delete them, this way you dont have to buy Trojan Killer
When he opens up the shortcut it has a path to the file can someone tell me it because I can't read it and I don't have a system check shotcut p.s I'm also doing this on xp.
Double click recycle bin > my computer (left hand side) > C: > search for files and folders > search for "system32" > go into the folder and find "taskmgr" > copy it onto the desktop and rename it "iexplorer" > double click on "iexplorer" and you will access the task manager. (help from theindianguy and brettsmith)
I have a friend who has this same virus and it appears his task manager has been disabled. Says so when he uses ctrl alt del, and it is greyed out using the above mentioend method from the video. Does anyone have a solution for this.
