Daddy Dewdrop is a pseudonym for an American songwriter named Dick Monda ,backed up by some studio musicians, including Tom Hensley and Butch Rillera Monda had written the song "Chick-A-Boom" for the cartoon, Sabrina and the Groovie Goolies. The song was re-recorded and distributed by Sunflower Records, and released a full album of novelty based tunes, including "Chick-A-Boom" and was retitled "Chick-A-Boom (Don't Ya Jes' Love It)".
