Performed at "Heartbeat" in Fukuoka, 2003.
Guitar : Yamaha S-51.

"Research for the Legend of Blind Joe Death" (1996) is my original tune (tuning : CGDGBE) with great influence of John Fahey's historical CD "The Legend of Blind Joe Death" (1996).

It was released in my CD "Orion -new ragtime guitar-" in 2001.

  • You may not even speak English or understand what I am saying but if so good job, good luck, and keep up the good work. Keep playing as long as its fun and makes you happy. Dont ever lose sight of whats real in the music game homie.

  • My thoughts when i saw the first moments of the video was,"No way this China man was going to have the skills to make Fahey proud". Then as the playing progressed I realized I myself as a fellow musician would love to recieve constructive critisim on my own playin so that i may improve. I realized if i want that curteousy than i should pay it forward first. First off, you did do Fahey justice (which is no easy task in itself). The rhythm in your finger picking was on point and very fluid.

  • This tuning is used by Richard Thompson for '1952 Vincent Black Lightning'. I believe.

  • very nice, excelent melodies
