Tribeca Residence
Allied Works Architecture
New York, NY

After a year of collaboration with Allied Works Architects, Polich Tallix began full scale production on 4,500 square feet of unique interior aluminum paneling for a residence in Tribeca. The patented Pyro-tex process was developed for the project and offered texture and color to random yet predicable pattern. The panels are arranged over four floors of the residence, melding all 500 panels together in a sense of continuity in the space. The largest panel size, nearly 13 tall are intermixed with various shapes and sizes that hug corners and veer up staircases. With minimal gaps between each panel, the pattern flows uninterrupted throughout the book matched layout. Careful consideration of panel placement is obvious, transforming select walls into a lurid, yet amazingly active landscape.
