Great actress but the newest TV adds with her talking about non-American children really gets under my skin.

There are thousand of American children starving every day, many of these children have lost both of their parents to senseless gang violence. I am a white working class American and think that this façade of spending our monies to NOT help the children right here in AMERICA is a disgrace. WAKE UP HOLLYWOOD! Thanks for your time. She was unbelievably brilliant in Roseanne. She made Jackie into such a complex, nuanced character, and her chemistry with roseanne was amazing. She has said that she was so spoiled by the cast and material on Roseanne that she would never be able to enjoy doing another tv show as much because of it. I just loved Jackie Harris.

Laurie, Laurie, Laurie...so darling and so talented and gifted. So beautiful and sensitive. She and Jackie also remind me of chocolate chip cookies with those big brown eyes and all that thick dark hair and those olive complexions. They're both great people. Laurie Metcalf and Jackie Harris forever!!!

she has been a star on roseanne, the norm show, and now easy money. my god, she is so talented. 3 sitcoms! havent had a chance to watch easy money yet, but if she is in it, im sure it will be good.

One of my favorite lines from Roseanne was where Bev told Jackie she was worried about her reckless lifestyle. then Jackie says "Reckless lifestyle?!, I'm living with my mother in a retirement community!" LOL

She had some kick ass writing from the Roseanne show and she was great.
She was slam dunk perfect casting for the loud sister of the overbearing mother "Louis" on "Malcolm in the Middle" More writers that deserve more credit.
